2 years old!

Dear Owen,

You turned two years old, and I can’t believe how fast you are growing up!  We spent the day by going to get dunkin donuts and then the ball factory and Olive Garden for lunch.  Then we had cake and presents.

You also had a combined birthday with Blake a few weeks ago.  We had a lot of people here to celebrate you both and we even had a bounce house!

We love you very much,

Mama

Disney!

Dear Owen,

We just got back from an awesome vacation to Disney World!  This is the first time you have been there. We drove with Papa and Gigi just like I used to do when I was a little girl.  We brought a lot of things in the car for you to play with like DVD players and of course a Magna doodle.  We also brought walkie talkies so that we can talk to Papa and Gigi in the other car.

First we went to Jacksonville Beach to Auntie Christine and Uncle Bryan’s house.  We stayed there for a day and when in the pool and the beach and then we all drove to Disney World together.  We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside which is our favorite place to stay.  One day TT and Uncle Colin came and surprised Auntie Christine and Uncle Bryan and they got to see Rory for the first time. We went in all of the parks and you enjoyed all the rides.  I think your favorite was the Dumbo ride since you love Dumbo!  It was so fun to show you all of the things that we do when we go to Disney and to see you enjoy it as well.  I cannot wait to take you back again someday!

Love,

Mama

New cousin!

Dear Owen,

A few days ago you got a new cousin!  Cousin Rory Joseph, born to TT and Uncle Colin.  On Easter you got to meet him for the first time.  You had just woken up from a nap and were being a bit shy but I know you will have so much fun with him in the near future!  I can’t wait for you and Blake to grow up with a cousin and play with him and have him as your friend!  It will be so fun to watch you all be together!  It was such a great moment!

Mama

Dear Owen,

We are on the way to Wisconsin Dells!  This is my first time going and yours too.  You and Blake are playing in the back seat and having fun.  We will be there soon and we’re going to a water park and indoor theme park!

It’s been a while since I wrote to you ,but you are doing so many tho he now it’s hard to keep track of.  You can say so many words now and are even talking in short sentences.  You know almost all your shapes and colors and can even recognize and say a good amount of letters and numbers.  You can go up and down stairs by yourself.  You are really growing up so fast and changing so much.  I love you and can’t wait to have fun on our trip!

Our New House

Dear Owen,

We are finally moved in!  We have a new house!  It’s been a crazy couple of days but we did it!  We moved in before Christmas and even hosted Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!  I am so happy to see you love your new house and to see you so happy when you got all your toys back from the boxes.

Love,

Mama

New house

Dear Owen,

In one week we will be in our new house!  It feels like forever we have been waiting for this.  Only a few days left.  We have been out of our old house since April and have been building a new house.  Finally, the day is coming soon!  You will have your old crib back and all your toys.  We have been driving by almost every day to look at it and see what new thing they have done to it.  I can’t wait to move in, in a few days and start our life in our new, forever home.  This will be the house that you will grow up in and I can assure you, we are never moving again!  I can’t wait to show you our brand new house and all the wonderful things that you will discover there!

Mama

17 months

Dear Owen,

Today you are 17 months!  You now love watching this show called Peppa Pig.  Blake discovered it and now you both love to watch it.  When it comes on you make the oinking noise like Peppa!  Dadda also taught you all the animal noises, so you can say the cow sound, the owl sound, the chicken sound, the pig sound, and others.

I can’t wait to see what you can do next!

Love,

Mama
